This Privacy Policy explains how Frontier Consulting Africa Ltd collects, uses, stores, and protects information obtained through this website (frontierconsulting.africa) and through our business operations. Please read it carefully.
1. Who we are
Frontier Consulting Africa Ltd ("Frontier", "we", "us", "our") is a field research and strategic advisory firm headquartered in Nairobi, Kenya, operating across Sub-Saharan Africa. 2. What data we collect
We collect information you provide through two forms on this website. Through our Contact form we collect: first name, last name, organisation, email address, engagement type, and message. Through our Methodology Documentation Request form we collect: first name, last name, organisation, job title, email address, how you heard about us, and any additional context you choose to provide. We also collect standard server log data (IP address, browser type, referring URL, pages visited, time-on-page) via our hosting provider.
3. How we use your data
Contact form submissions are used solely to respond to your enquiry and manage our client relationships. Methodology documentation requests are reviewed by our team and used to send you the requested documentation and follow up as appropriate. Server log data is used solely to maintain the security and performance of this website. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data with any third parties.
4. Legal basis for processing
Where you are located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, our legal bases are: (a) your consent, given when you submit either of our website forms (both forms include an explicit consent checkbox); (b) our legitimate interests in operating a professional website and responding to business enquiries; and (c) compliance with legal obligations. For visitors from Kenya, processing is conducted in accordance with the Kenya Data Protection Act 2019.
5. Data retention
We retain contact form and methodology request submissions for up to 24 months after last contact, after which records are deleted unless a continuing client relationship requires longer retention. Server logs are retained for 90 days. You may request deletion at any time (see Section 7).
6. Cookies
This website does not use first-party analytics or tracking cookies. The only cookies that may be set are those placed by the Google Maps embed on our Contact page when it loads. These are set by Google LLC and are subject to Google's own privacy and cookie policies. You can view and manage these through your browser settings.
7. Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you, to object to or restrict processing, and to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, email info@frontierconsulting.co.ke with the subject line "Data Request". We will respond within 30 days.
8. Third-party services
Form submissions from this website are delivered to us by email via our SMTP provider and are not stored or processed by any third-party form platform. Our Contact page embeds a Google Maps component (Google LLC, United States). By loading the map, your IP address is shared with Google subject to Google's privacy policy.
9. Security
We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect data against unauthorised access, disclosure, or destruction. All data is transmitted over HTTPS. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date below. Continued use of this site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
